If you read Deborah Rey's blog yesterday you'll know that unfortunately, our planned launch for 'Rachel Sarai's Vineyard' couldn't go ahead, due to boring and very practical reasons. This was quite a disappointment, and I'm not really sure who was more bugged by it, us or Deborah, as it was something we'd talked about right from the start and was important for lots of reasons, none of which were particularly commercial.
However, we do want to mark the launch of little Rachel on Monday, and have come-up with the flowery little widget below and on the sidebar, and with it we are asking everybody to wear a flower during April, on their blogs or sites, to commemorate the courage of a five-year-old girl who did something incredible.
But why the flower?
Well, it might look like a daisy to my untutored eye, but it is actually a 'Marguerite' and has a deeper significance to the Dutch resistance survivors. Deborah explained more about it the other day, so I won't repeat that again, just go read her post.
Monday is the launch day for Rachel Sarai's Vineyard.
If you would like to wear a flower for Rachel on your own blog or site the bobbins and instructions you need are here.
